The Beginning of Learning to Swim
Aquakiddies/Babies
was founded in 1993 by Julie-Ann James, our Head Instructor and Company
Director. The Aquakiddies/Babies method of teaching was first pioneered in Australia
during the 1960's. Originating from Australia herself, Julie-Ann was one of the
first children that this method was taught to. In 1993 Julie-Ann taught at just
one pool. Aquakiddies/Babies has now grown to the stage where it is taught at over
thirty pools throughout London and the surrounding areas. Aquakiddies/Babies
is
expanding it's classes throughout the whole of England, to ensure that as many
young babies have the opportunity to develop their swimming skills as early as
possible.
